Our History
Founded in 1991, Dulakis Painting was founded by painter Chris Dulakis, right here in Central Florida. Our first headquarters in Oviedo is still where we proudly remain today. What started as a small, family-run operation has grown into one of Florida’s most trusted commercial and industrial painting companies. With a crew bringing over 100 years of combined experience, we stay true to our roots while applying our expertise to projects across the state.

Chris Dulakis, Founder, Owner & Vice President
Chris Dulakis is a career painter, entrepreneur, and business owner with over 40 years of experience in commercial, residential, and industrial painting. In 1991, he established Dulakis Painting in Oviedo, Florida to serve as a reliable, trusted business solution for Central Florida’s ever-growing commercial and industrial landscape. Chris offers daily leadership, guidance, and client support in the office and on the job site. He’s an Associate Member of BOMA Orlando and an active member of the Central Florida community.
Yvonne Dulakis, Owner & President
Yvonne Dulakis is Owner & President of Dulakis Painting Inc. and has been a member of the leadership team for over three decades. Her eye for design and workmanship is integral to Dulakis Painting’s vision. She enjoys being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with family.
Jose Sosa, Senior Project Manager
Jose Sosa joined the Dulakis Painting team in December 1998 as a painter and helper, rising over the years to the ranks of Foreman and Senior Project Manager. Jose has been an invaluable member of the crew for more than 25 years. His crucial role in service, client, and department development makes him a trusted team leader. Jose provides thoughtful project analysis, careful project monitoring, and staff evaluation for every commercial or industrial painting project.
Georgette Rainaldi, Office Manager
Georgette Rainaldi is Dulakis Painting’s office extraordinaire and has been with the team since 2008. Her commitment and loyalty to the company and its crew makes her a crucial part of everyday operations. When you call or email Dulakis Painting, you’ll usually get the pleasure of speaking with Georgette. Her attention to detail and customer service will make you feel at ease every step of the way.
Dave Myers, Foreman
Dave Myers has been with our crew since December 2011. His loyalty, dedication, and vast knowledge of painting, carpentry, stucco, and general repairs make the Dulakis Painting team that much more dynamic and versatile in-house.
Rafael Diaz, Foreman
Rafael Diaz has been a part of the Dulakis Painting team since October 2009. Rafael is key player on the Dulakis Painting team, particularly for his expertise in drywall work, and his first-class urethane caulking.
Jesus Castro, Painter/Lead
Jesus Castro is a lead painter with the Dulakis Painting team. Joining the crew in 2024, Jesus leads our commercial and industrial projects with consistency, enthusiasm, and excellence, from start to finish.
Jesus Medina, Painter/Helper
Jesus Medina has been a member of the crew since April 2024. His reliability and commitment to each project are integral to our commercial and industrial services across the state of Florida.
Mark Dulakis, Warehouse Manager
Mark Dulakis joined the Dulakis Painting team in November 2022 and serves as the team’s Warehouse Manager. Mark always ensures the shop is clean and materials are ready for the job. He also serves as a team escort, overseeing job safety and quality.
Fabian Pinzon
Joining us in August 2025, Fabian is a rising star at Dulakis Painting for his teamwork, effort, and commitment to the Dulakis Painting culture.
Jax Dulakis
Jax is the grandson of Founder Chris Dulakis and serves as a junior apprentice on the Dulakis Painting crew.
